The writing considers themes of visuality and the assertion of identity, youth as architects of freedom and disobedience. The intended viewer is an educator or emerging artist/activist, and the content seeks to highlight mutualities across difference. This aim comes from a place of radical hope, in the name of supporting and inspiring ongoing resistance to hierarchical forms of oppression.
